Today I want you to take every metric that you are tracking and throw it out the window. I want you to close your Google Analytics account. Stop looking at your autoresponder account. And shut down those spreadsheets that you been staring at all morning.
Because today we’re going to talk about 1 metric. A metric that will drive your business and take it to the next level. A metric that will stop you from looking for new customers. If you can do this one thing you will have customers waiting in line for you.
So why does almost no one pay attention to this metric?
Well, it’s not easily quantifiable. You cannot throw it in your Google Analytics account. It can’t be tracked on a spreadsheet.
So what are we talking about here?
We’re talking about value. The value that you deliver to your clients and potential customers.
You see, people care about their needs. They care about what you can do for them. And when you start putting their needs first and delivering serious value you will never have a shortage on customers or referrals.
It sounds so arbitrary…. value. Oh ok I already do that, I write articles. Oh I record videos that’s value right. Is it? Are your articles delivering true value? Are your videos changing someone’s life in a positive way?
That’s what you need to look at. You need to make sure you’re not creating content for the sake of creating content. You need to create content that delivers serious value. And by putting the needs of your audience first you will get that flowing stream of customers and referrals.
